This three-hour workshop by Claire Villarreal, PhD, Dawn Mountain’s Programs Director, offers a crash course on reincarnation for the modern spiritual seeker. We lightly touch on the research coming from the University of Virginia’s Department of Perceptual Studies in the first half. Then we investigate Buddhist models of mind and the contemplative practices (particularly those from Tibet) that have been designed over the centuries to optimize our chances of a good death and peaceful rebirth process. The PowerPoint presentation for the workshop is available here, and you can download the audio files in the lessons. The video quality isn’t as good as usual, so we recommend viewing the videos as embedded in the lesson pages. Also, there are links to audio files of the two workshop sessions.
