An exploration of the relationship between attention and love, attention giving rise to wisdom, how cultivation of a generous heart is associated with delicate and precise awareness, a sense of loving connection with others, and how this connection can yield a more expansive vision of who and what we are in relation to ourselves and to others. Should you find yourself wanting to follow the Buddhist path, this is an excellent place to start.
Each lesson begins with a meditation practice, followed by a teaching from Dawn Mountain founders Anne Klein and Harvey Aronson. In developing your understanding of self, engaging in meditation, finding common ground with others, and cultivating love and closeness, you will begin to build the foundations of compassion, attention, and gratitude.
In the final lesson, you will be introduced to the “Four Immeasurables,” also known as the “Four Boundless States.”
